5 Connection to a battery cell
The cell cables have to be connected to the front panel of the BCS-8xx module and then to
the cell. In the first section of this chapter, the cell cable to front panel connection is de-
scribed, followed by the connection between cell cable and the cell.
5.1 BCS-815 cell cables
A BCS-815 module has eight channel with eight 7 pins LEMO connectors. Each cell cable
(2.5 m, standard length) has a 7 pin circular connector which is connected to the front panel
of the BCS-815. The 4 terminals on the other end of the cell cable (two each, 2 mm and 4
mm plugs) have to be connected to the cell as shown below.
