With BCS-805 and BCS-810, no BCS-PDU is needed because the required power for these
modules is relatively low and does not justify a three-phase power supply distribution.
The eight channels of a BCS-810 require the same power as one channel of a BCS-815.
It is possible to connect different models of BCS-8xx modules to the same BCS-COM. The
BCS-COM is able to differentiate and identify the modules of each BCS-8xx model. The
BCS-805 and BCS-810 modules can be powered by the logic line of the BCS-PDU too.

1.4 Software features
BCS-8xx series is supplied with BT-Lab
®
software which provides many protocols for batter-
ies and supercapacitors tests. Standard graphic functions such as re-scaling zoom, linear
and log scales are available. Standard processed files can be created at the user's conven-
ience upon running an experiment for the purpose of real time display of the experiment in
progress. Post processing is also possible using built-in options to create variables such as
derivative or integral values, etc... Raw data and processed data can be exported as stand-
ard ASCII text files.
The user can find more information about BT-Lab
software in the software manuals, availa-
ble in the “Help” menu of BT-Lab software.
It is assumed that the user is familiar with Microsoft Windows
©
and knows how to use the
mouse and keyboard to access the drop-down menus.
