If various parameters of an index are to be read, it will be sufficient to set index
access via 1201 once at the beginning.
8.2 Parameter access through reading/writing of data sets
The PROFINET communication module CM-PROFINET features the PROFINET data
set access function. This feature can be used as an alternative to the PKW commu-
nication object in the data exchange object. The PKW object is always sent to the
bus, regardless of whether it is currently being used or not. Thus, it produces un-
necessary bus load.
