9.1.3 Installing the Sample Stage on the Base

Laceration/Pinch/Puncture Hazard
When the device power is left on, motors may move unexpectedly and cause injury.
u Ensure the device power is off before proceeding with installation.

• Place the sample stage on the base of the autosampler slightly toward the front edge of
the base.
Keep the bottom of the sample stage parallel to the base, so that the corners don't gouge
the finish on the base.
• Slide the sample stage back until the pins engage the holes. You should hear or feel a
click.
