6.1 Calibrate
2. Empty the scale and press ENTER
Busy is briefly shown then the weight is displayed.
3. Press ENTER to accept the zero point calibration.
TEMP procedure
1. Highlight Temp and press ENTER
The current weight on the scale will be temporarily assigned as the Cal
Zero value.
2. Continue to the SPAN procedure, key in the value of the test weights and place
them on the scale and complete the SPAN procedure. The original Cal Zero is
restored after exiting the span procedure and the current product weight will
now be correctly represented. Due to factors that created the original
inaccuracy, it may be necessary to re-zero the scale when the tank or vessel is
empty.
LAST procedure
1. Highlight Last and press ENTER
The last acquired zero value will be assigned as the new Cal Zero value.
2. Continue to the SPAN procedure without removing the test weights. Key in the
value of the test weights on the scale and complete the SPAN procedure. The
test weights will now read accurately.
6.1.2 Span procedure
When you access the Span procedure the screen will show the current calibration
weight value.
1. You can enter a new value for the calibration weight and press ENTER to
accept it or press ENTER to accept the displayed value …
The CALIBRATE screen appears showing the accepted calibration
weight value.
2. Place the test weights equal to the calibration weight value on the scale and
press ENTER
Busy is briefly displayed then the CALIBRATE screen with the span
weight displayed.
3. Press ENTER to accept the span …
The screen returns to the home calibration screen.
On the initial zero calibration of the indicator to a new scale, the zero cal counts may
appear unstable. Continue to the span calibration and when completed the condition
should correct itself.
