E - Define Files ( Extension )
Databases, serial files and log files are defined with this command for the use together with the
printer´s memory card.
E EXT;name_type CR
E = Define Extension
EXT = Extension type (file type )
Valid filetypes:
DBF = Database File
used together with the [DBF] text option
TMP = Temporary file (Serial numbering file)
LOG = Defines the name of a external protocol file (LOG file)
Used together with the text option[WLOG]
name_type = Filename
E DBF;ARTICLE
Uses ARTICLE.DBF as external file on memory card. ARTICLE.DBF must be present on the printer´s
memory card to get access.
Filenames have to be in the 8.3 format (8 characters name and 3 characters extension)
E TMP;SERNUM
Uses SERNUM.TMP as file for serial numbering from memorycard. Used together with the [RLOG]
und [WLOG] text options.
