TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY
Remove the lower output bore plug. Position the
transmission case on the converter housing (using
lifting bracket).
Using spreading type snap ring pliers, spread ears
on output shaft rear bearing retaining ring. Hold
snap ring open. Tap the transmission case into the
place.
Tap the dowel pin in the transmission case and the
converter housing.
Install the transmission case to the converter hous-
ing mounting screws and the lock washers.
Tighten the mounting screws to the specified torque.
