7.7 ACCESS CONTROL

Access Control -- Passwords
Access to the Case Communications 6401 router is controlled through three user accounts:
1 Admin - Unrestricted access to change and view all configuration options.
2 Support – allows an ISP technician to access your Broadband Router for maintenance and to
run diagnostics.
3 User – Allows a user to access the router to configuration settings and statistics, as well as,
update the router's software.
Use the fields below to enter up to 16 characters and click "Apply/Save" to change or create
passwords. Note: Password cannot contain a space.

7.8 UPDATE SOFTWARE
MANAGEMENT > UPDATE SOFTWARE
Step 1: Obtain an updated software image file from Case Communications or your local Case
Communications reseller.
Step 2: Enter the path to the image file location in the box below or click the "Browse" button to
locate the image file.
Step 3: Click the "Update Software" button once to upload the new image file.
NOTE: The update process takes about 2 minutes to complete, and your Broadband Router will
reboot.
