To ensure that the machine has a long life, and to ensure that operations are carried out in
safety, do not operate the machine in any of the following ways.
Do not operate all cylinders to the end of their strokes. Always leave approx. 5 cm (2 in) to
spare.
Using the mount to gather in pieces of rock
Operations using the swing force
Moving the chisel while carrying out impacting
operations
Holding the chisel horizontal or pointed up
when carrying out impacting operations
