Starting Engine
Normal Starting
Start the engine only after sitting down in the operator's seat.
Do not attempt to start the engine by short-circuiting the engine starting circuit. Such an act
may cause a serious bodily injury or fire.
Check that there are no persons or obstacles in the surrounding area, then sound the speaker
and start the engine.
Exhaust gas is toxic. When starting the engine in confined spaces, be particularly careful to
ensure good ventilation.
IMPORTANCE
Do not crank the starting motor continuously for
more than 20 seconds. If the engine does not start,
wait for at least 2 minutes before trying again.
1. To ensure the safety lock handle in the locked
position, if the safety lock lever is not in the
locked position, don't start the engine.
2. Turn the key in starting switch (C) to the START position. The engine will start.
3. After the engine starts, release the key in
starting switch. The key will automatically return
to the ON position.
