Description
The setpoint is used to select the method how the Gateway IP is adjusted.
If IP Address Mode (page 235) is DISABLE this setpoint is used to adjust the IP address of the gateway of
the network segment where the controller is connected.
If IP Address Mode (page 235) is ENABLED this setpoint is used to display the gateway IP address which
has been assigned by the DHCP server.
A gateway is a device which connects the respective segment with the other segments and/or Internet.

Description
The setpoint is used to select the method how the DNS Address 1 is adjusted.
If IP Address Mode (page 235) is FIXED this setpoint is used to adjust the domain name server (DNS), which
is needed to translate domain names in email addresses and server names into correct IP addresses.
If IP Address Mode (page 235) is AUTOMATIC this setpoint is inactive. The DNS server IP address is
assigned by the DHCP server.
