PLENUM ADAPTERS AND COIL
PLENUMS
(Upflow and downflow units)
Some applications use plenum
adapters to match the furnace to the
plenum. They connect a coil plenum
to a furnace if the coil plenum or
box is wider than the furnace. The
coil plenum is the box housing a
cooling coil.
FOSSIL FUEL KITS
RXPF - F01
RXPF - F02
The kit enables a heat pump to utilize
this furnace as auxiliary heat. It
consists of relays and controls to
cycle the furnace during a second
stage heat call and during defrost.
The RXPF-F02 kit uses a solid state
control and meets TVA requirements.
DO NOT USE any other fossil fuel
kits with current production
models of this furnace.
EXTERNAL FILTER FRAMES
External filter frames may be ordered
for use with side or bottom return
upflow applications and for use with
downflow applications. Filters come
with the filter frames.

This kit is for twinning "J" Series
furnaces ONLY. It consists of
additional door switches and wiring.
► SIDEWALL VENT KITS
Both Tjernlund and Field Controls
sidewall vent kits can be used with
Low Profile Furnaces. They use
standard B - vent to carry combustion
gases laterally from the furnace and
out a side wall of the house.
