2. Twin the two controls as directed
on pages 43-47 and
the wiring diagrams on pages
108-114.
3. Connect the thermostat to the
"MASTER" furnace IFC as
shown in the wiring diagrams
listed above.
Use caution when following all
instructions. Check the unit's
operation for proper performance
after completing the repair. If there
are any questions, contact the
local Distributor or service
representative.
FOSSIL FUEL KITS
The new IFC board Is compatible
with Fossil Fuel Kits RXPF E01,
RXPF - F01, and RXPF - F02.
1. Replace the control board as
outlined before.
2. Wire the thermostat according to
the appropriate Fossil Fuel Kit
wiring instructions and wiring
diagram.
The control terminal
locations may be different, but
are functionally the same. See
pages 115-117.
TWINNED UNITS WITH FOSSIL
FUEL KITS
1. Replace both control boards as
outlined before.
2. Interconnect the two control
boards as described in the
"TWINNED INSTALLATIONS"
section.
3. Connect the thermostat wires to
the "MASTER* control board
according to the appropriate
Fossil Fuel Kit wiring instructions
and wiring diagram.

INTEGRATED FURNACE
CONTROLS USED ON CURRENT
LOW PROFILE GAS FURNACES
This furnace uses either a UTEC or
Honeywell control. These controls
generally operate the same. They
manage the operation of the furnace;
sequence the unit on and off: use the
process of flame rectification to
monitor flame presence and stop the
furnace if detecting a malfunction.
There are small differences between
the controls.
UTEC 1012-920/920A AND
HONEYWELL S9201 E2001
CONTROLS
The UTEC 1012-920/920A controls
have our part number
62-24084-01 or 62-24084-02. Both
use serial numbers beginning with
DF. The new Honeywell control is
the
S9201 E2001 with our part
number
62-24044-01. Furnaces
having serial numbers beginning with
DC have the Honeywell control.

NOTE:
The UTEC 1012-920A is
functionally the same as the UTEC
1012-920 and is a direct replacement
for the 1012-920. It enters production
in units made after date code F0398.
These controls have
two green LED
lights.
Both lights should be on
during normal operation. The power
light indicates the board has 24 volts
to operate. The OK light should be
on constantly as the board checks its
circuitry. If the OK light is out, the
