The Low Profile Furnace comes in
several models: a dedicated upflow,
a dedicated downflow, a combination
upflow/horizontal, and a dedicated
horizontal. All models use either
1 /2- or 3/4-horsepower direct drive,
multi-speed blowers.

ignition are controlled by a solid state
integrated furnace control board.
Earlier furnaces used the hot surface
igniter not only to light the burners,
but to act as a flame sensor using the
process of flame rectification. Current
