2. Set parameters.
Name: Input customized rule name.
Period: System can generate an alarm once the object in the zone is
missing for the specified period.
Target filter: Click , you can set filter object size. Each rule can set
two sizes (min size/max size). Once the object is smaller than the min
size or larger than the max size, there is no alarm. Please make sure
the max size is larger than the min size.
3. Left click mouse to draw a zone, until you draw a rectangle, you can right
click mouse.
4. Click OK.
Complete drawing missing object detection rule.
Step 3 Click , it is to set parameters.
Please refer to chapter 4.14.3.1 motion detect to set other parameters.
Step 4 Check the Enable box to enable missing object detection function. Click Apply or
Save to complete setup.
Device begins missing object detection.
4.14.4 Face Detection (Optional)
This function is to detect whether there is any human face in the detection zone. Once
there is a human face in the detection zone, system can use a rectangle to highlight
human face in the preview window.
Note
Please connect to a smart network camera if you want to use face detection function.
Please make sure the connected smart network camera supports face detection
function.
Step 1 From main menu->Setting->Event->Face detect.
Enter face detection interface Figure 4-169.
Step 2 Set parameters.
Enable: Check the box to enable face detection function.
Face ROI (Region of Interest): Check the box here, system can enhance the
human face display pane. Please make sure you connected camera supports
this function. Otherwise the checkbox is grey.
Log: Check the box here, system can record face detection log.
Refer to the chapter 4.14.3.1 motion detection to set other parameters.
Step 3 Click Apply or Save to complete setup.
Face detection setting is complete.
