When an absolute encoder is used, the cables for the absolute data are connected directly to the encoder board id slot C. The Sin-
Cos/Digital pulse signal cables are connected to the Advanced safety option board and from there to the option board in slot C.

This configuration enables the use of absolute encoder with position data for control. The safety functions are implemented with-
out the absolute data, and the safety functions with position monitoring are monitoring the relative position based on the incre-
mental signals from the encoder.
