9-2-2. Description of the hardware
EDS File
An EDS file is an information file related to the communication specifications of EtherNet/IP-compatible
device and a separate, individual file exists for each device. The EDS file is necessary for using the
EtherNet/IP configuration software to connect the MFC-EN and the PLC.
The EDS file is included in the installation CD for the HFC3000II Manual. Please refer to the instruction
manual for the EtherNet/IP configuration software concerning the appropriate method for using the EDS file.
