Removing a redundant AC power supply unit
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Disconnect the power cable from the power outlet and from the PSU you want to remove, then remove the cable from the
strap on the PSU handle.
Steps
Press the orange release latch and slide the PSU out of the system using the PSU handle.

Installing a redundant AC power supply unit
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. For systems that support redundant PSU, ensure that both the PSUs are of the same type and have the same maximum
output power.
NOTE: The maximum output power (shown in watts) is listed on the PSU label.
3. Remove the PSU blank.
Steps
Slide the PSU into the system until the PSU is fully seated.
