● Remove the primary M.2 2280 solid state drive or primary M.2 2230 solid state drive.
● Remove the base cover.
● Remove the LED board.
● Remove the left I/O board.
● Remove the speakers.
● Remove the secondary daughterboard.
● Remove the display assembly.
About this task

Steps
1. Disconnect the touchpad cable from the connector on the touchpad board.
2. Remove the 10 (M2x3.5) screws that secure the touchpad to the system chassis and disconnect the NFC cable from its
connector.
3. Use a plastic scribe to carefully pry the touchpad and lift it from the system chassis.
