8.9.3.1 Block-up protection submenu
The block up protection defines the time period when the blocking protection for con-
nected valves, pumps and secondary air louvres will be carried out.
The block-up protection prevents moving parts from becoming sluggish or blocked
(seizing) during longer standstill periods.
Once a week, at a set time, pumps and secondary-air louvres are operated over their
entire range of movement (controller operate all moving parts in their entire movement
range). At this point the control system is disabled. Possibly connected heating and
cooling valves can be simultaneously opened. The block-up protection function does
not apply for valves that are operated during the activation time.
The requirement to perform the block-up protection applies to the following:
– that the fan speed of the units located in the group is
speed 2
– that possibly connected electrical heating is switched off
The air damper actuator is excluded from the block-up protection.
If one of the requirements is not met, the block-up protection will not be carried out until
all the requirements are met.
8.10 System menu
The menu "system" provides access to functions that are not directly used during nor-
mal operation. Basic settings like e.g. cluster configuration or date and time can be car-
ried out here.
The menu "system" is used:
– to select the language of the user interface
–to set contrast
–to set backlighting
– to set current date and time
– to set the time format
– to select the displayed temperature unit
– to configure clusters
–to set full blocking
–to set partial blocking
– to change the password
– to adjust the automatic summer time
– and to display the version info.
Block-up protection
Execute on:
Monday
Value range: 1st line: Monday to Sunday or “disabled”*
2nd line: Time from 00:00 to 23:59 or “--:--”*.
Factory setting: Monday and 02:00
* If “Disabled” or “--:--“ is selected, then the block-up protection
is switched off.
