«LED» DISPLAY ON METAL DETECTOR
NOTE: This information is for problem detection only.
The LED display on the control panel of the metal detector shows the system condition and allows the helps the
operator detect a possible problem.
S1 Sensor #1 status (ON/OFF)
S2 Sensor #2 status (ON/OFF)
12V Regulator status (ON = operating - OFF = stop or failure) *
5V Regulator status (ON = operating - OFF = stop or failure) *
* Does not indicate that voltage reaches the necessary 12V or 5V level.
Possible sensor status:
S1: OFF - S2: OFF ► Transmission lever in REVERSE position
S1: ON - S2: OFF ► Transmission lever in NEUTRAL position
S1: ON - S2: ON ► Transmission lever in FORWARD position
S1: OFF - S2: ON ► Error: System failure or bad S1 and S2 sensor connection
Detection limit: LEDs are all turned on until the feed rolls are engaged, then stay on for 4 seconds. Then the detec-
tor’s automatic calibration is engaged and the LEDs indicate the level of noise detected.
K1: Operating rotation relay
K2: Operating spout relay
K2: Operating transmission relay
Sol: Will be turned on when the solenoid thermal fuse is on (open) (overheating/short-circuit)
Fault: Short-circuit in S1 and S2 sensors
JUMPER POSITION
1. Standard, with no breakage or slippage detection system: J6 = OFF J8 = ON or OFF
2. Forage Harvester with drive shaft at the cutter head with safety bolt and breakage or slippage detection
system: J6 = ON J8 = SHEAR BOLT
3. Forage Harvester with drive shaft at the cutter head with friction clutch and breakage or slippage detection sys-
tem: J6 = ON J8 = SLIP CLUTCH
