ASSEMBLING INSTRUCTIONS - MANUAL QUICK-DISCONNECT HITCH
STEP 1
Run the cord (item 1) from the front of the machine
through the holes (item 2) as shown.
STEP 2
Run the cord (item 1) through both holes (item 3) at the
base of the angular transmission (item 4).
STEP 3
Install an eye bolt (item 5) in the indicated hole with two
5/16” ange nuts (item 6). Tighten nuts nger tight. Se-
cure the cord pulley (item 7) to the eye bolt with a 5/16”
x 1-1/4” lg hexagonal bolt (item 8), two 3/8” at washers
(item 9) and one 5/16” hexagonal nut (item 10). Run the
cord (item 1) through the pulley (item 7).
STEP 4
Attach the cord (item 1) to the lock rod (item 11) of the
hitch locking device (item 12). Pull on the cord then ad-
just the height of the pulley for free action. The sheave
position should be directed slightly rearward. Tighten
nuts properly.
NOTE: Adjust the cord on the tractor cab to make sure
it turns freely.
NOTE: The operator must pull on the cord strongly
enough to free the lock completely.
