When repairin g th e br eake r with the igniti on advance automa-
tic device, prop er attention sho uld be gi ven to the cond ition of the
breaker
contacts.
,. Burnt con t acts mu st be trimmed wit h a fine-grained s andpaper
or w ith a fl at nee dl e file.
After trimming , wash the contacts.
When dismantling the automa tic device, mark the mati ng parts
so that they can be cor re ctl y re- asse mbled.
The
automatic device ha v ing loo se axles or broken openings in
the bus hings must be replaced.
·A free-idle travel of th e weights on the installed a utom atic de-

hould be e limin ated by unbending the leg fastening the spr i ng.
