d amage d pl aces . It is good pr actice to reinforce th e damaged pl aces
with butt s trap s. The repaired pla ces mu st be thoroughl y cleaned
off
and painted.

1. DISMANTLING AND ASSEMBLING THE REAR SUSPENSION
The rear su spe nsion consi sts of two shock absorbe rs of th e r ear
whee l l evered s uspension, and rubb er bu s hings.
Dismantling and Assembling the Shock Absorber
Wh en dismantling and assembling the shock ab s orber, t ake ca re
to
ensure that th e wo rking plac e, tools and accessories a re as clean
as possible in order to avoid fouling and damaging th e component
part s of th e shock abso rber.
To disas se mble the shock absorber, proceed as follows:
grip the lower end piece in a vice with the shock abso rber in a
vertical pos ition ( if a vice is not available, fit the lower en d pi ece
of the shock absorber on so me plate 25 mm wide);
