Examine
and
check
the
spokes for proper
tensioning,
for which
purpose
pl
ace
the
motorcycle on a
support,
quickly
turn
the
wheel
and,
by
slightly
pressing
a
wrench
to
the
spokes, listen to the
so
und to
determine
whether
the
spokes
are uniformly ten-
sioned

play
and
pro-
per
tightening
of

axle af-
ter first
placing
the
motor·
cycle on a
support

the
gland
for pro·
per
fastening

Having
made
sure
that
failure is
not
clue
to
causes

the
wheel for
wobbling
without
removing
it from
the
motorcycle

Place
the
motorcycle
on

rotate
the
wheel.

run-out

sible
run-out
must
not
exceed

mm
over
the
wheel rim)

Repair
the wheel. Repla-
ce
broken spokes
and
adjust
all the spokes for proper ten-
sioning

slacken

set
screw of
front wheel end piece
and
screw
the
ax
le into
right-hand
threaded
end
piece of the f
ork
(left-hand

tighten

set
screw
