Troubleshooting
(22) MINUTE VOLUME LOW !! The minute volume is below
the lower alarm limit.
Check the breathing sys-
tem and alarm limit.
Hose blocked/kinked. Check breathing system.
Leakage in breathing system. Check breathing system.
Reduced volume due to pres-
sure limitation.
Check setting for PMAX.
Reduced lung compliance. Check ventilator settings.
Flow sensor not calibrated or
faulty.
Perform the procedure for
calibration of the flow sen-
sor, (see page 133).
Replace sensor and cali-
brate.
(31) NO FRESH GAS !!! Insufficient fresh-gas supply. Ensure sufficient fresh-gas
supply.
Valve for fresh-gas delivery is
closed. Underpressure safety
valve is automatically
opened.
Open valve for fresh-gas
delivery.

2 SENSOR CAL DUE ! More than 18 hours have
passed since the last O
2 sen-
sor calibration.
Perform the procedure for
calibration of the O2 sensor
(see page 134).
(8) O
2 SENSOR FAIL ! The O2 sensor was not cor-
rectly calibrated.
Perform the procedure for
calibration of the O2 sensor
(see page 134).

2 sensor replaced and/ or
not calibrated.

2 sensor used up. Replace the sensor cap-
sule and calibrate it, (see

2 SUPPLY LOW !!! The value for the O2 supply
line has fallen below the per-
missible minimum pressure
of 20 psi (approx. 1.4 kPa x
100).
Check O2 supply and
backup cylinder.
(9) PEEP HIGH ! In ManSpont mode, PEEP is
above 8 cmH
2O (hPa).
Check APL valve setting
and/or fresh-gas flow.
