Rear axle differential – Change oil level
Do not work under the roller with the engine
running. Park on a level surface.
Clean and remove the three filler/level plugs
(1) and (3) and the three drain plugs (2). The filler/level plugs
are located in the front and back of the axle and the drain plugs
are located on the lower and back part. Empty the oil into a
container. The volume is approx. 12.5 litres (13.2 qts).
Collect the oil and dispose in an appropriate manner
Place the drainage plugs and top up with fresh oil until the
correct level is reached. Place the level/filler plug. Use
transmission oil. See lubricant specification.
Rear axle planetary gears – Draining the oil
Position the machine so that the plug (1) is in its lowest position.
Wipe clean and remove the plug (1) and drain the oil into a
receptacle. The volume is approx. 2 litres (2.1 qts).
Save the oil and deliver to an environmentally compliant
waste disposal facility.
Rear axle's planetary gears – Oil change – Oil filling
Position the machine so that the planetary gear plug (1) is at “9
o’clock”.
Wipe clean and remove the plug (2).
Fill with oil to the lower edge of the level opening. Use
transmission oil. See lubricant specifications.
Clean and refit the plug (1).
Fill with oil in the same way as for the rear axle's second
planetary gear.
