Danger due to misuse!
Misuse can result in dangerous situations:
– Never use dif
ferent dosing media than the specified product.
– Never modify the dosing set values of the product over the tolerable limit.
– Never use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
2.2.1 Unauthorized alterations and production of spare parts
CAUTION!
Unauthorized conversions or modifications are only allowed by prior
permission and requires the approval of the producer.
Original spare parts and accessories authorized by the producer serve to
enhance safety

The use of other parts excludes liability for the resulting consequences.
2.3 Suitable products
DANGER!
– The Connexx system is delivered along with connection couplings, which
can be connected to Ecolab containers using integrated suction lance.
– Only the coupling(s) supplied with the Connexx device may be used
according to their colour (blue = alkaline products, red = acid products) for
containers with the same colour coding and connected to them.
–
The use of the coupling(s) for Connexx devices with different colour coding
is not permitted. Mixing up or connecting to containers with different colour
coding can have serious consequences for function and safety!
– No foaming products must be used in Connexx!
2.4 Lifetime
In relation to the dependence of the adequate maintenance protocols the life time
is 2 years (visual and functional testing, replacement of wearing parts, etc.)
Afterwards a revision is necessary, in some cases also a subsequent general overhaul
by the manufacturer.
2.5 Safety measures taken by the operator
It is expressly up to the owner to train, monitor and instruct his operating and maintenance
personnel so that they comply with all of the necessary safety measures.
The frequency of inspections and controls must be complied with and documented.
