4.5.2 Relay outputs LL1 / 2, PUMP Enable and Alarm
n ‘LL1/2’ can be used for empty signal.
n ‘PUMP’ Enable can be used as Enable for the metering pumps.
n ‘ALARM’
can be used as collective fault signal.
The alarm activates an internal buzzer and (optionally) an external horn. The alarm
output is switched off by pressing the QUIT button.
Connexx Basic (Article No. 182603, EBS No. 10013271):
n Empty signal contact
LL1/2 on X1, terminal 6 + 8 (normally open); open, if container 1 is empty
.
n Enable contact
PUMP Enable on X1, terminal 9 + 1
1 (normally open); open, if level switch is down or
5 seconds after its dropping.
n ALARM
on X1, terminal 3 and 5 (normally open) open, if there is no breakdown (short circuit,
break) or empty signal (container 1).
Connexx Switch (Article No. 182604, EBS No. 10001313):
n Empty signal contact
LL1/2 on X1, terminal 6 + 8 (normally open); open, if container 1 and / or container 2
are empty
n Enable contact
PUMP Enable on X1, terminal 9 + 1
1 (normally open); open, if level switch is down or
5 seconds after its dropping.
n ALARM
on X1, terminal 3 + 5 (normally open) open, if there is no breakdown (short circuit,
break) or empty signal of container 1 and 2.
The empty signal output is retained till both the containers are again signalled
full by pressing a key (LL1 and LL2).
The control unit cannot detect the filling level of the container automatically.
Only the containers from which not enough product can be removed in the set
time, are detected as empty
.
Empty containers must always be replaced with full containers before acknowledging LL1
or LL2. If a container is again enabled by pressing a key without being first replaced, then
the empty signal is again re-activated after some time.
