The exhaust air from the injector outlet must be conducted to a safe area, as it will always
contain product vapours. The exhaust air may also contain individual droplets of the
product, which would otherwise be emitted unhindered from the exhaust air connection.
The connection also reduces the noise level.
The exhaust air connection should be at least DN20, depending on its necessary length.
CAUTION!
The exhaust air connection of the injector must be conducted to a safe area in
order to prevent the emission of dangerous vapours and/or liquids!
A long exhaust air line can reduce the suction performance of the injector.
W
e recommend increasing the nominal diameter to DN25 for lengths over
about 20 m.
The vacuum achievable in the lifting vessel and the air flow at the injector depend on the
airflow pressure. Values calculated for 3 m of exhaust air hose (NW20).
