4. Connexx Basic: Empty signal LL1 after expiry of timer period LL1 LED flashes red /
QUIT LED lights up red / buzzer sounds Switch off the buzzer with the Quit button
and acknowledge the empty signal LL1 Filling continues as per step 3. If the empty
signal is repeated, repeat until the level switch is reached. The Connexx control unit
then sends an enable signal to the connected pumps
Control unit Connexx Switch: Empty signal LL1 and automatic switch-over to
container 2 after expiry of the timer period
LL1 LED flashes red / LL2 LED lights up green Empty signal LL2 and output of a
fault signal after expiry of the timer period LL1 LED and LL2 LED flash red / QUIT
LED lights up red / buzzer sounds Switch of
f the buzzer with the Quit button and
acknowledge the alarm signals LL1 and then LL2 Filling process is continued as per
Step 3. If the empty signal is repeated, repeat the process until the level switch is
reached. The Connexx control unit then sends an enable signal to the connected
pumps.
If the level switch in the lifting vessel can still not be reached after 3
filling procedures, the following parameters must be checked:
– Compressed air supply? Flow pressure of approx. 0.4 MPa (4 bar) on
the injector is optimum (0.5 MPa (5 bar) is required for the switch-over
valves of Connexx Switch)
– Throttle screw closed?
– Suction and exhaust air hose lengths?
– Click&Plug coupling correctly fitted to the container connection? (in
case of coupling connection to a container)
5. Adjust output time on DIL switch The output time should be adjusted corresponding
to the filling duration of the lifting vessel
(3 x filling= 30 seconds)

6. Check all the threaded couplings for leaks.
7. Check the exhaust air hose!
8. Empty the lifting vessel in case of:
Connexx Basic:
n Turn of
f the master switch
n Unscrew throttle screw
n The tank will drain automatically into the container through the suction line
Connexx Switch:
n T
urn of
f the master switch
n Bypass the contacts level switch (X1, terminal 18 & 19), so that the suction cannot be
started
n Completely unscrew throttle screw for ventilation
n Turn on the master switch to activatethe compressed air for opening the diaphragm
valve.
n The vessel will drain automatically into the active container through the suction line
In order to activate the non-active container, the appropriate button LL1 or LL2
must be pressed when switching on.
