5. Configuration of the Analog Input function blocks 1…6:
Promass 83 has six Analog Input function blocks. The following example describes the
configuration of Analog Input function block 1.
• In the “CHANNEL” parameter, select the measured variable (e.g. mass flow) to be
transmitted cyclically to the PROFIBUS master by means of Analog Input function block 1:
BASIC FUNCTION (G) → PROFIBUS DP (GBA) → FUNCTION BLOCKS (612)...
... → BLOCK SELECTION (6120) → Select: ANALOG INPUT 1
... → CHANNEL (6123) → Select: MASS FLOW
or enter the ID by means of the operating program: 277
