!
Note!
The measured variables for the software options (concentration measurement, viscosity, batching,
adv. diagnosis) are only available if the appropriate additional software is installed in the device. If
the measured variable is selected even if the additional software is not installed, the value “0” is
transmitted to the automation device (PROFIBUS master) for the measured variable.
Example:
You want to cyclically transmit the mass flow to the automation device by means of the Analog
Input function block 1 (module AI) and the temperature by means of the Analog Input function
block 2.
Configuration via the local display:
1. BASIC FUNCTION PROFIBUS DP FUNCTION BLOCKS BLOCK SELECTION :
Select ANALOG INPUT 1, then select CHANNEL =MASS FLOW
2. BASIC FUNCTION PROFIBUS DP FUNCTION BLOCKS BLOCK SELECTION :
Select ANALOG INPUT 2, the select CHANNEL = TEMPERATURE
Configuration via the operating program:
1. Open Analog Input function block 1 and enter the ID for mass flow in the “CHANNEL”
parameter 277.
2. Open Analog Input function block 2 and enter the ID for temperature in the “CHANNEL”
parameter 285.
