Note!
The control (e.g. switching on positive zero return) is executed by cyclic data exchange if the output
byte switches from “0” to the bit pattern in question. The output byte must always switch from “0”.
A switchback to “0” does not have any effect.
Example (change the output byte):
BATCHING_QUANTITY module - cyclic transmission of the batching quantity
The quantity to be batched (32-bit floating-point number) incl. status can be cyclically transmitted
from the automation system to the measuring device by means of the BATCHING_QUANTITY
module. If the batch quantity specified here is achieved, the closing contact for valve 1 is activated.
The unit selected in the measuring device is used as the unit.

Note!
• This module is only evaluated by the measuring device if the additional “batching” software is
installed in the measuring device (order option).
• The batching quantity is a non-volatile device parameter. If this parameter is modified via the
PROFIBUS, the change is saved in the EEPROM of the measuring device. The number of writes
to the EEPROM is technically restricted to a maximum of 1 million. Attention must be paid to this
limit since, if exceeded, it results in data loss and measuring device failure. For this reason, avoid
constantly writing this device parameter via PROFIBUS!
