11.6.10.17 update
Use this command to update ENC SW.
Command level: ecn330(config system)#.
Syntax
update software { boot|enc }
• software boot/enc – Updates the Boot Software or the appli-
cation SW of the ENC. Updating the application SW of the ENC
must always be used before updating boot SW.
Default Setting
None
Command Usage
This command installs new SW in the ENC. The command should be exe-
cuted after the SW is uploaded to the ECN from the LCT. The update soft-
ware boot command should never be executed before the update software
enc command is executed. The ENC will restart automatically after the
command is executed. For more information about how to upload SW files
please refer to the ECN330 Installation Guide or the ECN320 Installation
Guide.
Example
ecn330(config system)# update software enc
ecn330(config system)# update software boot
11.6.10.18 vlan-unaware
Use this command to enable or disable VLAN unaware mode of the switch-
ing unit. This command is not supported for the ECN330. ECN330 is al-
ways VLAN aware.
Command level: ecn330(config system)#.
