used in a scenario with the EXN104 FE-E1/T1 converter as indicated in
Figure 14 on page 33. The ability to supply a node with power over the
Ethernet cable in the upstream direction can be enabled by the ECN by this
command. It can be disable or set to auto as well.
Command level: ecn330(config)#.
Syntax
esn <node> power-on-uplink {enable|disable|auto}
Arguments:
esn <node> – The node number of the ESN108 in the format a.b
for example 1.0, which refers to the ESN108 connected to port 1 of
the ECN.
power-on-uplink enable/disable/auto – Enable, disable
or automatic configure the ESN108 to supply power over Ethernet
on the uplink connection.
Default Setting
Disabled.
Command Usage
The command is used to enable, disable or automatic configure the
ESN108 to supply power over the Ethernet on the uplink connection.
Example:
ecn330(config)# esn 3.0 power-on-uplink enable
