(2) Installation – controlled power source
(a) Put the power source (1, Fig. 33-2) on the appropriate place on the firewall (6) and
attach it with screws (2), washers (4) and nuts (3).
(b) Connect the wires (5). Refer to the wiring diagram in Chapter 91.
(c) Install the cover of the fuselage upper part F4 (Section 53-30).
(d) Connect the battery, switch the electrical network on and do function test of the
instrument lighting.
C. PWM dimmer
Maintenance type: Line
Personnel qualification: Independent verification personnel qualified in accordance with
Part 66 or higher
Recommended tools and material:
Flat screwdriver - 1 pc.
Phillips screwdriver No. 2 1 pc.
Wrench No. 11 1 pc.
(1) Removal – PWM dimmer
(a) Switch the electrical network off and disconnect the battery.
(b) Remove the cover of the fuselage upper part F4 (Section 53-30).
(c) Disconnect the wires (4, Fig. 33-3).
(d) Remove the knob (2), unscrew the nut (3) and remove the dimmer (1).
(2) Installation – PWM dimmer
(a) Insert the dimmer (1, Fig. 33-3) to the appropriate hole on the instrument panel (5)
and attach it with nut (3).
(b) Install the knob (2) on the dimmer shaft.
(c) Connect the wires (4). Refer to the wiring diagram in Chapter 91.
(d) Install the cover of the fuselage upper part F4 (Section 53-30).
(e) Connect the battery, switch the electrical network on and do function test of the
instrument panel lighting.
