EXTERIOR
1. DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
The exterior lighting consists of positon / anti-collision lights and landing / taxi light (see Fig. 33-4).
Optionally, the taxi light can be installed on the airplane. Standardly the airplane is equipped with
Whelen 9034001 (green) and 9034002 (red) position / strobe lights and. Optionally can be installed
the OR60001G (green) and OR60001R (red) position / anti-collision lights.
A. 90340 series positon / strobe lights
The 90340 series LED position and strobe light consist of one block, which is located on left and
right wingtips. The position light is designed with three forward LED’s and two aft LED’s. The
strobe light is provided by the flashtube. The power source of the strobe lights is located below
the baggage compartment.
Use the switch POS. LIGHTS to switch the position lights on. Use the switch BEACONS to
switch the strobe lights on. The two switches are located in the row of switches.
B. Orion 600 series positon / anti-collision lights
The Orion 600 series LED position and anti-collision light consist of one block, which is located
on left and right wingtips. The position light is designed with six forward LED’s and two aft
LED’s. The anti-collision light is designed with 24 white LED’s.
Use the switch POS. LIGHTS to switch the position lights on. Use the switch BEACONS to
switch the strobe lights on. The two switches are located in the row of switches.
C. 7114112 landing / taxi light
The airplane is equipped with the LED landing / taxi-light in the left wing leading edge.
Use the switch LDG LIGHT in the row of switches to switch the light on.
D. 7114112 taxi light
Optionally, the airplane is equipped with the LED taxi-light in the right wing leading edge.
Use the switch TAXI LIGHT in the row of switches to switch the light on.
