B. Power source of the strobe lights

(1) Removal – power source of the strobe lights
WARNING
THE POWER SOURCE OF THE STROBE LIGHTS IS A HIGH-
VOLTAGE DEVICE. AFTER YOU SWITCH IT OFF, WAIT 10
MINUTES, BEFORE YOU START THE WORK.
(a) Switch the electrical network off and disconnect the battery.
(b) Remove the carpet from the baggage compartment floor.
(c) Remove the baggage compartment floor IN3 (Fig. 06-2).
(d) Disconnect the connectors with wires (2, Fig. 33-6) from the power source (1).
NOTE
The power source removal must be performed by two persons.
(e) Remove the nuts (4), washers (5) and screws (3) and remove the power source
(1).
(2) Installation – power source of the strobe lights
NOTE
The power source installation must be performed by two
persons.
(a) Put the power source (1, Fig. 33-6) on the appropriated place on the skin (7), and
attach it with screws (3), nuts (4) and washers (5). Put the eye of the grounding
wire (6) on one screw.
CAUTION
THE POWER SOURCE IS SENSITIVE TO POLARITY
CHANGE. SWAPPED POLARITY ON THE POWER SOURCE
CONNECTOR WILL CAUSE SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE
POWER SOURCE.
(b) Connect the connectors with wires (2).
(c) Install the baggage compartment floor IN3 (Fig. 06-2).
(d) Put the carpet on the baggage compartment floor.
