EXTERNAL POWER
1. DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
Optionally, the socket of 12 V external source of Piper 11041 type may be installed on the airplane.
The socket is located on the right front part of the fuselage behind the firewall. After opening the
socket cap, it is possible to connect the 12 V ground source of electrical energy provided with the
corresponding plug (Piper).
The external power source connection is signaled by the blue EXT. POWER signaling light located on
the instrument panel (Section 31-50).
The connection of the external source serves only as a support of the on-board battery for starting the
engine. The external source doesn´t serve as a source of electrical energy for the electrical network.
