2. MAINTENANCE PRACTICES
A. Socket of external power source
Maintenance type: Line

Part 66 or higher

Solder wire - As needed
(1) Removal – socket of external power source
(a) Switch the electrical network off and disconnect the battery.
(b) Remove the cover of the upper part of fuselage F4 (Section 53-30).
(c) Unsolder the positive pole of the cable (3, Fig. 24-17)
(d) Unscrew the nuts (5), remove the washers (6) and the eye of ground cable (2).
(e) Slide out the screws (4) and remove the socket (1).
(2) Installation – socket of external power source
(a) Place the socket (1, Fig. 24-17) into the hole in the side skin of the fuselage (9).
(b) Solder the free end of the cable (3) into the positive pole connector of the socket
(1).
(c) Insert the screws (4) into the appropriate holes. In accordance with Fig. 24-17,
slide on the eye of the electrical bonding cable (2) and the washers (6).
(d) Screw on and tighten the nuts (5).
(e) Install the cover of the upper part of the fuselage F4 (Section 53-30).
(f) Connect the battery, switch the electrical network on and check the function of the
socket.
