3. SERVICE BULLETINS
Manufacturer issues service information for owners or operators in the form of following classes of
service bulletins.
NOTE
The current list of service bulletins issued for the SportStar RTC
airplane is available on the website of the airplane TC holder.
A. Mandatory Service Bulletin (“Safety Related”)
The numbering is indicated by the index "a SR"; is issued in these cases
(1) Failure to meet airworthiness requirements - for repair of structural deficiencies, the
inspection of critical parts, replacement of critical parts of the airplane's structure and
parts used in airplane assemblies.
(2) Necessary airworthiness conditions changes concerning actions having a direct impact
on the safety, changes in the Pilot´s Operating Handbook (Chapters Limitations, Normal
Procedures, Emergency Procedures), changes in the time limits and content
maintenance tasks that have an impact on safety.
The issue of this bulletin is always followed by the issuance of an Airworthiness Directive issued
by the competent Aviation Authority of the country of the airplane operator.
B. Service Bulletin
The numbering is indicated by the index "a"; is issued in these cases:
(1) Increasing the level of safety concerning airplane equipment, changes in the time limits
and maintenance tasks content, changes in the Pilot´s Operating Handbook.
C. Notification Bulletin
The numbering is indicated by the index "b". These bulletins contain information technical-
economic nature; the implementation is not required for airworthiness.
The owner or operator should be to ensure that all applicable bulletins are complied with.
4. PUBLICATIONS, REFERENCES
All inspections listed in this Chapter, should be accomplished with reference to the SportStar RTC
Airplane Maintenance Manual, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Service Instructions,
Service Letters and applicable vendors publications.
