TIME LIMITS / INSPECTION PROGRAM
1. INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS
The inspection program is based on number of flight hours (time in service), cycles of operation and /
or calendar time. Calendar time for each airplane begins with the original certification date
(Airworthiness lssue Date) recorded in the original Log Book for that airplane. Airplane Log Book can
be used for determining when inspections and maintenance based on flight hours will be due. The
method chosen for recording flight hours should remain consistent throughout the life of the airplane.
The airplane manufacturer requires that operators or owners must record the number of flight hours,
number of cycles and time of operation used at periods for purpose of complying with inspection
based on cycle count (for the maintenance accomplishment).
2. INSPECTION PROGRAM
The manufacturer inspection program has been developed to enable an owner or operator to
accomplish requested inspections and maintenance with Civil Aviation Authorities regulations.
The airplane inspections program consists in accomplishment of 100 hour and annual inspections
(each 12 calendar months).
CAUTION
THE RECOMMENDED PERIODS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A
GUARANTEE THE ITEM WILL REACH THE PERIOD
WITHOUT MALFUNCTION.
A. Airplane flown less than 100 flight hours per year
At the airplane with less than 100 flight hours flown per year, an annual inspection must be
done.
B. Influence of environmental condition (abnormal conditions)
All time periods for scheduled maintenance checks, replacement and overhaul schedule and
special inspections schedule noted in this Manual are based on average usage and average
environ mental conditions. Airplanes operated in abnormal environments (i.e. tropic, humid or
cold climates, i.e. dusty environment, etc.) may be worn, corroded, etc. more. Operation in
abnormal environments can influence inspections, overhauls, lubrication, etc. frequency.
