AIRPLANE CLASSIFICATION
1. AIRPLANE DESCRIPTION
SportStar RTC airplane is single-engine, two-seat low-wing monoplane with fixed landing gear and
steerable nose wheel. The airframe is a combination of classic all-metal primary construction with
some composite parts.
The power plant standardly consists of four-cylinder, four-stroke Rotax 912 ULS2 or S2 engine and
on-ground adjustable, three-bladed, composite propeller Woodcomp Klassic 170/3/R; optionally
airplane can be equipped with the in-flight adjustable, three-bladed, propeller Woodcomp KW-31 033.
Airplane is designed especially for recreational and touring flying, as well as for flight training with the
limitation to non-aerobatic operation and VFR day / night rules.
