8. ACCESSORIES
8.1 RELAY PHOTOCELLS

Use photocells with a NC relay contact. If multiple
photocells are used, the contacts must be connected in
series. If the photocell inputs are not used, they must
be bridged to (

).
Position and connect the photocells according to their
required use.

The action carried out when the photocells are trigge-
red depends on the operating logic of the automation.
FAILSAFE
Failsafe is a functional test that is carried out before
a movement: the board momentarily disconnects
power to the transmitters and checks the change in
status of the input. If the test fails, the board generates
an error and prevents the automation from moving.
To enable the Failsafe test:
- connect the negative of the photocell transmitters
to an output (OUT1/OUT2) configured as Failsafe
(
o1 or o2=01) instead of to the (
--
)
- configure the Failsafe (
1F)

The maximum power consumption of the output confi-
gured as Failsafe is 100 mA.
