Chapter 6: Getting Started
7. When charging is finished, remove the cable of the power supply unit and
close the battery compartment cover.

The FARO Laser Scanner need not be switched on to charge the battery.
DANGER
Do not operate the scanner while the external power supply
is plugged in, as the power cable might damage the turning
scanner.
NOTE: Remove FARO Laser Scanner from the transport case
before connecting the power supply to the scanner.
Before prolonged storage, remove the power supply unit and the
battery from FARO Laser Scanner.
