Course mode
General Course mode is described using the example of the MIG/MAG welding process. There may
be slight differences from the other welding processes. For example, in manual metal arc
welding the arc length criterion is comparable to the stick out in MIG/MAG welding.
In course mode, courses with varying degrees of difficulty can easily be configured or
adapted to individual requirements. The courses and the curricula on which they are based
are easy to access. The results can be compared with the help of ranking lists, so that it is
possible to address the precise needs of the trainee welder.
To enter course mode, proceed as described in the "Terminal management" section under
"Additional settings".
On the touchscreen to the right of the Fronius logo you will see the name
- of the logged-in welder
- of the course
- of the selected training
Training The training functions allows the trainee to practise the selected or assigned training
course independently. The trainer does not have to supervise or guide the trainee. To enter
the parameter overview, which provides a summary of the defined welding parameters, fol-
low these steps:
Touch "Training"
The window with the parameter overview opens, e.g. as shown below for the MIG/MAG
welding process:
