Showroom mode
General Showroom mode is ideal for reception areas, trade fairs or any place where an interested
party can quickly gain an impression of Virtual Welding without requiring any supervision.
Showroom mode provides an initial introduction to the Virtual Welding system and stimu-
lates interest in the virtual training.
To enter Showroom mode, proceed as described in the "Terminal management" section
under "Additional settings".
Showroom mode comprises two principal functions, which are explained below:
- Try out now
- Training
Try out now For an initial introduction, when you select "Try out now", the Virtual Welding system takes
itself through all the virtual practice tasks.
Touch the "Try out now" button
This opens a window containing the parameter overview.
To obtain details of the defined welding parameters and learn more about welding:
Select the "Details" buttons.
Select "Start" to start the wizard
The Virtual Welding system now runs through the virtual practice tasks. First of all, a weld
seam is created without any prior training. This simulation of a weld seam is followed by
exercises for speed, stick out and welding torch position.
Once the named exercises have been completed, a final simulation of the weld seam
shows your initial, individual progress.
