Printable Area
The printable area is an area on paper excluding the 4.0 mm margins on top and bottom
edges of paper, and the 3.5 mm margins on left and right edges of paper. For printing, the
printable area is 317 x 480 mm. For copying, the printable area is 297 x 432 mm.
For printing, the printable area can be extended to 323.0 × 480.0 mm at a maximum.
Note • To extend the print area, change the PCL print driver setting, or the [Print Area] setting on the control
panel. For the setting method on the print driver, refer to the help provided for the print driver. For
more about the setting on the control panel, refer to "Print Area" (P.220).
• For printing, the paper size that can be extended to the maximum printable area is 13 x 19" in
width direction, 12.6 x 19.2" in length direction. For copying, the paper size that can be extended
to the maximum printable area is 303 mm or more in width direction, 440 mm or more in length
direction.
• The actual printable are may vary depending on the printer (plotter) control language.
