Touchpad and touchpad buttons
Keep the touchpad clean. Protect it from dirt, liquids and grease.

Do not use the touchpad if your fingers are dirty.
Do no t rest heavy objects (e.g. bo oks) on the touchpad or the touchpad buttons.

The touchpad enables you to m o ve the mouse p ointer on the s creen.
The touchpad buttons allow you to select and execute commands. They correspond
to the buttons on a conventional mouse.
You can use a key combination to disable the touchpad, to avoid accidentally moving
the pointer on the screen (see also "
Key combina tions", Page 45).
Moving the pointer
► M ove your finger on the touchpad.

The pointer will move.

► M ove the pointer to the item you w ish to select.

► Tap the touchpad once or press the left button once.
The item is selected.
Executing commands
► M ove the pointer to the field you wish to select.
